During the warm summer season . . .
Come on up to our covered porch between 7:30 - 9:30 and check out all the breakfast choices. As I prepare for you your selections, you can listen to the birds, watch the rabbits, chat with other guests and of course, enjoy the items already sitting out on the porch. To start with, there is coffee, a toaster with a variety of breads for toasting and a refrigerator with juices, yogurt, parfaits and/or other goodies. Can't decide what you want, then I encourage you to sample a few things. After all, I LOVE cooking breakfast. In addition, the items I serve over the course of a week are . . .
Different types of casseroles Cinnamon vanilla French toast
Creamy Oatmeal - Plain, brown sugar -n- raisons, fruit (seasonal) on top Buttermilk biscuits smothered in country sausage gravy
Several meat choices (bacon, ham, sausage) Seasoned grilled breakfast potatoes
Stuffed breakfast burritos under a bed of melted cheese
And of course, if you need or would like certain items not on my menu (especially if you have dietary restrictions, would like milk (I don't regularly carry milk because there are too many types out there), let me know when you make your reservation, I will do everything I can to accommodate you. Also, if you are leaving early, let me know in advance and I can prepare a "to-go" breakfast.
When it is too cold to eat outside (early and late in the season) . . .
When it is not possible to eat breakfast outside in the morning, I will serve you in my home. In the event we have a large group (such as a reunion) that wants to eat at the same time, we serve buffet style next door at the small restaurant.
